OUR THERAPIES

Neuromodulation

Muscle neuromodulation is a therapeutic technique that uses electrical stimulation to modulate muscle activity and treat various muscular and neuromuscular conditions. It consists of the application of low intensity electrical currents through electrodes placed on the skin over the muscles or directly on the nerves that control them.

Neuromodulation

How is neuromodulation applied?

Using a needle inserted in an ultrasound-guided manner, a low-frequency current is applied that electrically stimulates a peripheral nerve or muscle to improve its neuromotor control. It is performed with the help of an ultrasound to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.

APPLICATIONS

Ecoguided Percutaneous Neuromodulation

  1. Trigeminal neuralgia
  2. Occipital neuralgia
  3. Intercostal neuralgia
  4. Peripheral neuropathy
  5. Carpal tunnel syndrome
  6. Low back pain and sciatica
  7. Morton’s neuroma
BENEFITS

Normalizes PROPIOCEPTION and NEUROMUSCULAR FUNCTION

Improves altered muscle tone, fascial retractions, ligament injuries or capsulo-articular pathology.
Promotes repair of injured tissue by improving blood and lymph circulation, as well as oxygenation and elimination of metabolic by-products (lactic acid).
Faster recovery for training.
Reduces hypotonia or atrophy.
Treats tight bands and trigger points.
It produces vibrations that reduce pain.
