Gait Biomechanics

A study of the footprint or biomechanical study of the gait is a set of diagnostic tests that allows us to assess pathologies of the foot and its relationship with other structures of the body. From this study it is determined whether or not it is necessary to use the podiatry template.

BIOMECHANICS OF GAIT

Who is the Biomechanical Gait study aimed at?

The biomechanical study of the gait or study of the footprint is aimed at all people, from children of an early age, through all those athletes, runners and athletes who want to improve their performance, improve running efficiency, prevent and reduce the riskof bold,  suffering any injury.

To patients with a prescription from our team of osteopaths and physiotherapists and doctors.

Through this complete analysis, it is possible to know the way a patient walks, helping to diagnose or advise to prevent the appearance of pathologies andbold,  muscular injuries and osteoarticular such as flat feet, cavus feet, plantar fasciitis, calluses, calluses and blisters, muscular overloads, repetition sprains.

Flat feet and cavus

Gait study can identify problems in the structure and function of the feet. These conditions can cause imbalances in the body and contribute to the development of injuries.

plantar fasciitis

It is a painful condition of the sole of the foot. A gait study can identify possible biomechanical triggers of plantar fasciitis, such as poor load distribution or excessive pronation of the foot.

Calluses, corns and blisters

The biomechanical study of gait can help identify abnormal pressure points and recommend corrective measures to prevent the formation of these skin lesions.

Muscular overloads

Footprint analysis can reveal muscle imbalances and exercise technique deficiencies that may be leading to overuse injuries. It allows you to work on the correction of the technique and adequate muscle strengthening.

Repeat sprains

Gait study can help detect ankle stability and control problems while walking, to reduce the recurrence of sprains. With this, we can improve the exercises to prevent future injuries.

"Dr. David Ponce, is a crack!!! After more than two years and two hip interventions after which acute pain persisted in the posterior thigh during this same time, he knew how to diagnose me with what no specialist contemplated: a break old hamstring, from which I am beginning to recover in the same clinic with the "hand" of the physiotherapist Arnau Surós."
