SPECIALTIES IN OSTEOPATHY

Cranial Osteopathy

Cranial osteopathy is a non-invasive manual therapy that focuses on the joints of the skull. Its main goal is to restore balance and promote the body’s natural self-healing process. Through gentle and precise techniques, it seeks to release the restrictions and tensions present in the skull, which can have positive effects on general health and well-being.

Cranial Osteopathy

What pathologies do we treat with cranial osteopathy?

Cranial osteopathy is commonly applied to babies due to the delicacy of their skull and its responsiveness. It treats tensions and restrictions in the craniosacral system caused during childbirth, alleviating problems such as breastfeeding difficulties, sleep problems, colic and asymmetries in the skull. With subtle techniques, tension is released and balance is restored, promoting healthy development. Osteopaths specialized in pediatric osteopathy adapt the techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of the baby. Also suitable for adults!

Central nervous system disorders

Osteopathy can help correct cranial asymmetry in babies. Using gentle, tailored techniques, pediatric osteopaths treat stresses and restrictions in the skull, promoting healthy, balanced development.

Migraines and headache

Cranial Osteopathy is effective in relieving migraines and tension headaches caused by stress, poor posture and eating factors. Migraines are unilateral recurring pains of vascular origin, accompanied by symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and ear pain.

Injuries or falls

In traumas such as falls, traffic accidents, sports or work accidents, which can cause movement restriction in the cranial or sacral bones.

Postpartum

After a forceps or vacuum-assisted delivery, both mother and baby may experience tension and restriction in the skull and related structures. Craniosacral therapy can help release these tensions and promote recovery and balance in both.

For babies, craniosacral therapy can be especially beneficial.

Tinnitus or tinnitus

The most common causes of tinnitus are hearing loss, ear infections, acoustic nerve tumors, and earwax plugs, among others. In some cases, the causes of tinnitus may be caused by a disorder of the patient's mandibular and cervical structures.

Eye problems

Cranial osteopathy can help in the treatment of various eye problems, such as:

Squint

"Dr. David Ponce, is a crack!!! After more than two years and two hip interventions after which acute pain persisted in the posterior thigh during this same time, he knew how to diagnose me with what no specialist contemplated: a break old hamstring, from which I am beginning to recover in the same clinic with the "hand" of the physiotherapist Arnau Surós."
