SPECIALTIES IN OSTEOPATHY

Gynecological Osteopathy

Gynecological osteopathy is a comprehensive therapeutic approach that addresses various problems related to women’s gynecological health. This includes treating menstrual cramps, regulating the menstrual cycle, and addressing the source of the problems rather than just treating the symptoms. The main objective is to improve the health and well-being of women through specific and personalized osteopathic techniques.

This approach seeks to provide a long-lasting and holistic solution to gynecological problems.

Gynecological Osteopathy

What pathologies do we treat with gynecological osteopathy?

Gynecological osteopathy helps women in various aspects of their health. Some benefits include hormonal balance, menstrual pain relief, fertility enhancement, support during pregnancy and childbirth, and facilitating postpartum recovery.

It is important to consult with our specialized gynecological osteopathic specialist to design a treatment plan tailored to individual needs.

Gynecological osteopathy does not replace conventional medical care, but complements it in the search for a comprehensive approach to women’s health.

Ovarian cysts

Through gentle manual techniques, you can improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and support normal ovarian function. However, it is important to work collaboratively with a medical team for a comprehensive approach.

Endometriosis

an osteopath can work on the mobility of the pelvic and abdominal tissues, helping to reduce pain and improve function and circulation in the affected area.

Dyspareunias

pain during sexual intercourse It can manifest as superficial pain at the entrance of the vagina or as deeper pain during penetration. Causes can be physical, such as infections or medical conditions, or psychological

Dysmenorrhea

Menstrual disorders

menstrual disorders through gentle techniques that improve the function and balance of the female reproductive system.

Hormonal changes

Osteopathy can help regulate and balance the hormones in the body, which is especially relevant in conditions such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause-related hormonal imbalances.

Infertility

We improve the function and health of the reproductive system by addressing potential imbalances or restrictions in the body that could be affecting fertility. This is achieved through gentle and specific manual techniques that seek to restore balance and mobility to tissues and structures related to reproduction, such as the pelvis, reproductive organs, and nervous system.

Menopause

Symptoms associated with menopause: hot flashes and sweating, dry mucous membranes

incontinence

Urinary and/or fecal incontinence

Prolapses

Bladder, uterine or colon prolapses

Menstrual pain

pain and associated discomfort through manual techniques that release tension and restore balance in the musculoskeletal system.

"Dr. David Ponce, is a crack!!! After more than two years and two hip interventions after which acute pain persisted in the posterior thigh during this same time, he knew how to diagnose me with what no specialist contemplated: a break old hamstring, from which I am beginning to recover in the same clinic with the "hand" of the physiotherapist Arnau Surós."
